Paris Greeter: Experience Paris with a Parisian! Paris fr

Come as a visitor, leave as a friend.

Are you planning to visit Paris and seeking a unique experience? Why not try Paris Greeter, a free service that helps you enjoy the French capital as Parisians do? Paris Greeters are local residents who volunteer their time to share the districts of Paris they know and love so well with visitors.

A greeter will take you on a 2 to 3 hour stroll and introduce you to a favorite neighborhood of theirs, showing you its markets, cafés, points of interest, and in short, everything that makes up their day-to-day world.

All greeters, who will introduce you to places and provide insights into Parisian life that are not always found in the published tourist guides, have a love of Paris and a willingness to share with visitors the city’s art, traditions and culture. Greeters are not professional tour guides but enthusiastic, friendly individuals with knowledge of Paris who will accompany you on a visit to the city, free of charge, as a friend would.

You must reserve your Paris Greeter walk (for a maximum of 6 people) 1 or 2 weeks before your arrival date in Paris. The stroll takes place on foot or by public transit, the cost of which you pay, if necessary, for yourself and your greeter.
