A number of hidden restaurants is located on the many peaks of the French Alps. These are perfect shelter and dive into the local gourmet traditions. 

 

The Well-Named

The Antigel restaurant - so named for its French meaning, anti-freeze - is located in a delightful wooden chalet and offers traditional dishes with the best of both Savoyard and Val d'Aoste culinary traditions. Whether by the fireplace or on the terrace overlooking the Tarentaise Valley, the food is always fresh.

The High-Altitude

This restaurant, located 3,032 meters above sea level on the La Grande Motte glacier, boasts a 360° panoramic view of the mountains. Here you will be served delicious, traditionally Savoyard cuisine, accessible either by ski or by the funicular. Three different menus are available: "food to-go," "traditional," and "Cantine des Bouvier."

The Elegant

At Jean Sulpice in the heart of Trois Vallées, recipient of two Michelin stars, you are welcome even in your ski clothes! The kitchen is both traditional and modern at the same time. Classic dishes from the chef's childhood have been given a modern twist along with mountain herbs.

The "Best"

La Bouitte is, first and foremost, a story about a family. The restaurant is managed by both René (father) and Maxime (son) Meilleur - their last names meaning "Best" in French. The concept is to serve traditional dishes from the region, which are cooked up in a new and surprising edition at the restaurant housed in a Savoie Cottage.

The Pure

L’Atelier d’Edmond boasts its second Michelin star, which it was awarded in 2015. The restaurant is even at the foot of the slopes and just above the city of Val d'Isere in 1850 meters altitude, surrounded by beautiful white peaks.
