Rendez-vous in Evry
Evry is the penultimate stage of the Tour de France 2014.
Despite developing on an ancient roman city, the Essonne Prefecture later built the only French cathedral of the 20th century!
It then had to wait for the 21st century to host another monument, the Tour de France, for the finish of a stage won by Erik Zabel.
At the time, the German sprinter didn't yet know that he would fail in all his attempts to triumph on the Champs-Elysées stage.
