Rendez-vous in Tomblaine 54 Tomblaine fr

This neighbouring common of Nancy entered the club of stage towns of the Tour de France in 2012.

It also hosts the Marcel Picot Stadium, home to the AS Nancy-Lorraine football club.

It was here that Michel Platini made his professional debut.

After a tremendous career, he organised his jubilee there in the spring of 1988:a game that would include Pelé, Diego Maradona and Platini, three of the best players of all time. Platini and Maradona on the pitch and Pelé watching from the stands.

Must see

  • Renovation of the oldest building in the town,
  • The old farm at the school of agriculture where Pasteur stayed and worked for several weeks.
