ArtCOP21, the Global Climate Art Festival 2015
Alongside the United Nations conference on climate change, organised in Paris (COP21: 30th November – 11th December 2015), the world of culture is coming together to propose a grand-scale artistic adventure on environmental issues.
Exhibitions, meetings, performances, shows, projections, concerts, talks, workshops and artistic experiments will take place throughout the entire world, particularly in Paris, running from September until December 2015.
Cultural agenda for Paris Climat 2015
ArtCOP21, the Global Climate Art Festival 2015, is coproducing over 25 artistic events and will unite almost 200 cultural events, all for the same cause.
Here are just a few of the events taking place in Paris (see more examples mentioned in the photo captions above):
- Summit of Creatives, a series of talks (given in English) taking place at the Gaîté Lyrique throughout the COP21 event to inspire and stimulate environmental change!
- 1 Heart 1 Tree, help combat deforestation by creating your own virtual tree and see it projected onto the Eiffel Tower!
- Andrea Polli’s Partical Falls, a real-time reactive light projection acts as a monitor, an alarm, and a thing of beauty: see the current levels of air pollution as a digitally generated light show!
- Antarctica World Passport Delivery Bureau at the Grand Palais, become a member of the Antarctica World Community and join a united platform to tackle human and environmental issues on a global scale!
