"Pixar, 25 years of animation" in Paris
The first museum in the world dedicated to the art of entertainment opened its doors in Paris on 16th November 2013 with the exhibition Pixar, 25 years of animation.
The acclaimed exhibition Pixar, 25 years of animation opened at the MoMA in New York in 2005 before touring many prestigious museums around the world. This exhibition perfectly represents Art Ludique’s approach, resolutely pioneering and popular. By showing original works from the artists behind films such as "Toy Story", "FindingNemo", "Ratatouille" and "WALL·E", the MoMA paid homage to the art and artists of Pixar, immediately attracting an extraordinary amount of visitors to witness the exhibit.
It is therefore an honor for Pixar to designate Art Ludique Le Musée as the venue for its exhibition Pixar, 25 years of animation in Paris, with over 500 works of art, drawings, preparatory sketches of characters and settings, storyboards and sculptures, as well as the spectacular “Toy Story” Zoetrope and mesmerizing Artscape, offering an incredibly immersive voyage into the magical world of animation.
