On its Doorstep, the Pyrénées' Most Treasured Sites...

Your hotel couldn't be better placed for easy access to the Pyrenees' greatest sites. The "Coulée Verte" walking and cycling trail passes in front of the hotel, linking the village to both Lourdes and Cauterets. After a day's sightseeing, you'll enjoy the pleasure of getting back to your spacious bedroom with its high ceiling, little sitting area and comfy beds. The hotel is built on three levels. Its 1900 staircase, wood panelling and mouldings, and its various lounges conjure up the "Belle Epoque" (turn of 19/20thC) - champagne glass in one hand and cigar in the other, you could well be a spectator at a French cancan show!

Travel the By-Ways of Gascony on a Horse-Drawn Caravan

Live a leisurely nomad life with family or friends in a pretty horse-drawn caravan.
It's unusual to say the least, but imagine the sheer freedom and pleasure of journeying along delightful country lanes at a gentle pace, coming across unusual sites and charming old buildings - washhouses and dovecotes, fortified villages and mediaeval 'bastide' towns - and seeing the world from a quite different perspective. Your horse will take the strain, while you sit back and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful Gascony countryside.
