Air France: Kids in the Spotlight
Every year, close to 350,000 unaccompanied children travel on Air France flights.
Constant special attention is paid to these younger passengers by cabin crew on
board and our staff on the ground.
At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, a "UM" lounge (Unaccompanied Minors)
welcomes children with connections who are traveling alone and provides them
with entertainment, such as video games, magazines and toys. Everything has
been designed to accommodate children with connections in a fun and reassuring
atmosphere. A UM lounge is also available at Paris-Orly airport.
On board long-haul flights, children can enjoy games, a rich and varied choice of
movies and cartoons on individual screens and special menus up to the age of
12. Travel kits for children are also available and include several fun items
including coloring books, travel logs, crayons and games.
