In a lounge adorned with impressive wood
features, stands the 30 liters Melchizedec, the largest Champagne bottle in the
world. Opposed to the excessive use of sulfur, home practice the lower doses of
the profession. Thus, champagne has more natural colors with gold, even copper
and also more fulfilled aromas. Spirits are aged in oaks vats for more than 15
years, thus gaining a strength and nobility. The wine cellars in the basement
were built in 1152 by the Cistercian monks of Clairvaux. Unique cuvees are
gently matured and the compagny's giant bottle are stored there. Famous
throughout the world, Drappier champagnes have been favorites of figures as
prestigious as General de Gaulle, Luciano Pavarotti and Philippe Starck.

It's in
the heart of the old Gallic forest covering the hills and valleys of the
Plateau of Langres, on the borders of Champagne and Burgundy that Saint Bernard
came to reclaim, there is nine centuries, the glade of Val d'Absinthe to build
the famous abbey where he lived until his death. Since inception, the abbey had
a regular destiny with 5 periods clearly defined. In 2015, we celebrate 900
years of its foundation. This event is registered among the national
commemorations by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

over the business in 1975, in the footsteps of his father, to whom he devoted
the Cuvée Gabriel, a 100% Chardonnay Champagne aged in barrels. Passion,

Les
Riceys is a charming village located in "Champagne-Ardenne" in the
heart of "Côte des Bar". With it 866 hectares of vineyards, it is the
town which has the largest vineyard area of all Champagne. It is also the only
wine village of Champagne to have three AOC: Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and
Rosé des Riceys. In the vineyard, the "cadoles", small dry stone
constructions were erected by the winemakers of the last century to protect
against harsh weather.
