Biarritz, an authentic golf destination

From Biarritz to Moliets, Saint-Jean-de-Luz to Pau, in the south of the South-West, all of our 16 golf courses are less than an hour’s drive away. Impressive, right?Biarritz has a long history with golfing – the Golf du Phare was created in 1888 – and more than 16 golf-courses in a radius of 100 km; Biarritz has always been a golf destination highly prized by enthusiasts of this sport. Moreover, the Pau Golf Club is the first course to have been designed in continental Europe in 1856.Biarritz’s development strategy concerning golf led to the twinning with the American town of Augusta, Georgia (the world’s golf capital) in 1991.
Depending on your wishes, your shape or your level, you can choose any golf with sea or mountain view, in the heart of the city or down to the pine trees, gently hilly or firmly athletic, historical or rural; come and enjoy quality, fresh vibes and diversity all year round thanks to the mild climate. The Golf Pass « Biarritz Destination » gives you the opportunity to play from 2 to 8 rounds with attractive prices.  Valid for one year, you just need to contact one of the four golf clubs to book the courses (www.biarritz-destination-golf.com).
