CroisiEurope River Cruises Adds New Itineraries, Ships for 2016


CroisiEurope announces nine new itineraries to its European offerings, plus new additions to the fleet for the 2016 season

CroisiEurope, the largest and most experienced river cruise company in Europe, has announced nine new river itineraries and new ships for the 2016 season.

After launching the Loire Valley’s first overnight river cruises, Discover the Loire Canal on the new Déborah Barge. An order for a third paddle wheel propelled ship has been placed with delivery expected sometime in 2017, though the route it will sail has not yet been announced. These additions demonstrate CroisiEurope’s commitment to introducing guests to new destinations and innovations in ship-design.

Highlights of CroisiEurope’s New 2016 Cruises Include:

Discover the Loire Canal on the Déborah Barge: Come aboard the Daniele Barge and see the charm and history of Loire Valley. Filled with historic sites and breathtaking landscapes this 7-day cruise will visit Briare, Léré, Ménétréol-sous-Sancerre, La Chapelle-Montlinard, Marseilles-Les-Aubigny and Nevers. This ship has 12 contemporary cabins that can accommodate 22 people.

In addition to these highlights of what guests can expect in 2016, CroisiEurope is also introducing a number of new itineraries throughout Europe for the 2016 season.

New Barge Cruise Itineraries:

The Bastides and Villages of Southwestern France: On this 7-day cruise guest will experience the natural beauty and historical heritage of Southwestern France while visiting the Pink City of Toulouse, the aqueducts in Cacor and Agen and Auvillar.

New Northern Europe Itineraries:

Visiting the Great Cathedrals: This 6-day cruise will expose passengers to some of Europe’s greatest religious monuments, which many of them are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, in Strasbourg, Speyer, Mannheim, Worms, Mainz and Cologne.

New Multi-River Itineraries:

Cruise on Three Rivers, Rhine, Moselle and Seine: Aboard this cruise guest will experience a unique itinerary as they will be sailing along three breathtaking rivers while visiting Honfleur, Paris, Trier, Mainz and more.
