French Vineyards Itinerary: Macon and Dijon

June 7-11, she is taking us to Dijon and Macon, where she'll uncover the secrets of French wine along the way. Follow her journey using #VisitFrenchWine!

 


DAY 1: 

Dinner on the left Bank of the Saône River

Evening and night at the  Hôtel**** Europe & Angleterre 

 

DAY 2:

Lunch at "Le Moulin du Gastronome

Walk through the vineyards via the Berzé Fortress 

Walk from the village "Les Chancerons" to "Vergisson"

Evening and night at the hotel "La Courtille de Solutré"


DAY 3:

Biking through the vineyards to reach "La cave des Terres Secretes"

Visit of the Outdoor Market in 'La Roche Vineuse" village

Road trip from Fuissé, through Chasselas, saint Verand, saint Amour 

Arrival at Romanèche Thorins

Visit of the "Chateau Portier", visit of the old windmill and wine tasting

 

DAY 4: 

Visit of Dijon

Visit of the "Philippe le Bon Tower"

Phillipe le Bon Tower is 151foot height, the rooftop offers a unique panorama of Dijon and around.

Night at "Hostellerie Le Chapeau Rouge

 

DAY 5:

Visit of the Gaugry Cheese factory, cheese tasting

Relaxing time at the "Richebourg" SPA in à Vosne-Romanée,

Our tip: ask for the " Soin Enchanteur Relaxant", typically burgundian

Lunch at the "Vin-T-age" restaurant 

Visit of "La ferme fruit rouge", discovery of the crème de cassis production and tasting

Visit of one of the "Côte de Nuits" vineyard and Wine Tasting

 

DAY 6:

Traditional burgundian lunch at "Les Domaines qui montent"

Visit of Dijon
