Where to Find the Best Ice Cream in Paris paris fr

The French have a love affair with cream, especially when it comes to dessert – so it’s no surprise that Paris boasts some of the richest ice cream options in France, with everything from glorious gelati in gleaming parlours to mini shops serving delicious creamy scoops.

Raimo is the oldest purveyor in the capital (try the lemon-basil), closely followed by Berthillon, which opened on the Left Bank in 1954. It offers over 60 flavours, 30 of which change according to the season and whim of its expert glaciers. If the queues here are too overwhelming, chic Pascal le Glacier is tucked away in the 16th and champions fresh fruit above all else. A number of other establishments really push the boundaries, namely La Tropicale Glacier and Glaces Glazed – the names and flavour combinations alone are enough to tickle taste buds.
