Terminal Neige, a new concept of mountain hotel

At Terminal Neige, in Flaine, touch down in a hive of activity, a world apart completely dedicated to snowsports. Outdoor activites, technology, entertainment, wellness, adventure, arts and culture are brought together to offer the full experience of a ski holiday in the mountains, that could have only existed previously in one’s wildest dreams. This new vision of hospitality encompasses the intimate, the emotional and defines itself as the new art of living for urban populations in search of all that is natural and authentic, those that seek to break with the staid traditions, pre-formatted holidays and oldestablishments.

The Totem will open its doors starting December 18, 2015, the first of a new concept of mountain hotels that will give rise to additional Alpine destinations such as Avoriaz with Terminal Neige - Gare in years to come. Le Totem building, located at Flaine Forum directly facing the Picasso Totem, incarnates the architectural style in which the snowy urbanlandscape was built in the 1960’s, a style conceptualised by Marcel Breuer, the architect having worked in the notorious German school of architecture and design - Das Bauhaus. In a modern architecture that binds the esthetically pleasing with the functional, le Totem is a living work of art and life that melds beautifully with the sports, the culture and the collective experience in Flaine. The interiors are designed in an ethnic spirit, with woven, woolen fabrics inspired by Native American culture, vintage furniture and an urban soul integrating the latest technologies.

Ski Shop

Located in the heart of Terminal Neige, the ski shop is an essential element to the rider experience. The Rooms

The confrontation of raw materials in their pure state, the juxtaposition of concrete and the chestnut furniture, custom-designed by Jean-Louis and Nicolas Sibuet, all this surrounded by woolen fabrics in ethnic patterns, it is in this atmosphere both intimate as well as artistic that one discovers the 96 rooms of Le Totem. Each room is decorated with a mural created by a local street-artist inspired by the graphics lines, the hourloupes doneby Jean Dubuffet, present through out the resort.
