Golf courses between beaches and chateaux in North West France

In Paris Ile-de-France 

With more than 75 reputable courses, the Ile-de-France region tops the list when it comes to golf. Often located near tourist sites, golfing in Ile-de-France is a great way to combine sport with cultural discovery.  Play one of the best-known courses like the Golf National or the Golf Hôtel de Mont Griffon.

In Normandy 

In Normandy, pair golf with the sea, golf and sailing, or golf and culture:  the region's abbeys, cathedrals and châteaux are bound to stimulate art lovers.  From Mont-Saint-Michel to the port of Dieppe, from one end of Normandy to the other, sites and visits as varied as they are original mark the map between numerous nine, 18 and 27-hole courses. Notably, the Golf du Champ de Bataille, a few kilometres from Evreux, in Neubourg, is a magnificent 18-hole course on 60 hectares of natural valleys and water hazards.

In Brittany

In the Western Loire

Rich with 30 golf courses, the Western Loire is also a region full of sites that are well worth a visit.  There is truly something for everyone: the Royal Fontevraud Abbey, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the beaches of Vendée, the Loire castles, the cities of Nantes and La Baule... In La Baule, test the two 18-hole courses of the Golf International Barrière. Challenge yourself only a few kilometres from the Atlantic, in a green setting nearby hotels, a casino and spas. 

In the Loire Valley 

With 31 golf courses, this region knows how to combine leisure and culture. The Loire Valley, its sumptuous castles and royal estates are only one hour from Paris. Between Tours and Orleans, 15 minutes from Blois, the Chateau de Cheverny golf club invites you to relax while challenging your vast golfing abilities.

In Poitou-Charentes

No matter in which part of the region they are staying, golfers can take part in their favourite past time only a few kilometres from home. Beginners can test their skills on nine and 18-hole courses.
