Facing the Eiffel Tower, the Hors-Piste rooftop offers a ski-resort atmosphere overlooking the Seine – with an ice rink, winter garden, snowy decor and mountain specialities to boot.

Want to enjoy the pleasures of winter outdoors at the heart of Paris? Until 14 March 2019, Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches presents Hors-Piste, an ‘altitude rooftop’ installed overlooking the Seine.

This new Parisian place to be draws on the warm, party atmosphere of a ski resort. It’s not just an ice rink – a winter garden, snowy decor, mountain specialities, mulled wine and DJ sets await visitors and locals alike.

Ice skating on the banks of the Seine facing the Eiffel Tower

To be able to skate along the Seine, it’s well worth the detour. This is the first time that Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches has set up a skating rink, measuring 120 square metres with breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower. Between sessions you can head to the bar, open midday to midnight for tartiflette, oven-baked Mont d’Or and mulled wine.

In the evening, DJ set take over for the ‘après-glisse’. You can take refuge in the transparent igloo on the Hors-Piste rooftop: a winter bubble that welcomes families, friends and couples for a unique dining experience.

An intimate igloo overlooking the Seine

This is your chance to hold up in an intimate cocoon with panoramic views of Paris’ Grande Dame, the Seine and the rest of the city. Get here before it closes on 14 March 2019.
