Welcome to Castelbrac

Luxury by moonlight !

Set in the cliff face, the Castelbrac hotel at Dinard occupies a magnificent 1930s villa that looks like a Scottish castle, overlooking Prieuré bay.

The Castelbrac hotel is the latest addition to the Emerald Coast's range of luxury accommodation, occupying a characterful villa looking down over Dinard's famous ‘Clair de lune’ (moonlight) promenade. Its 25 sea-facing rooms are exceptional, with their sophisticated décor and high quality furnishings. They have a lounge area, and either a large private terrace or a superb panoramic view. The hotel, which is packed with history, is attached to a gourmet restaurant - which used to house the offices of Commander Charcot. It also has a spa, a bar - on the spot once occupied by an aquarium - and a pretty summer terrace that's a lovely place to sip your drink, looking across to the Solidor Tower and the Saint-Malo ramparts. An outdoor swimming lane, a small gym and a sun terrace complete the star attractions provided by this luxury and leisure brand.

Restaurant Pourquoi Pas

Pourquoi Pas, the Castelbrac restaurant, located in front of Saint Malo with a breathtaking view on the bay.
The Chef Julien Hennote is native from this region, suggested for the restaurant “ Pourquoi Pas” a local and simple cuisine with marine spirit.
Aged 33, born in Dinan, Julien Hennote has lived the adventure right from the start aboard the Castelbrac.
In his more distant memories, he always had the desire to cook. A classical pathway in excellent houses, then two years in Polynesia. He came back home right on time to get involved passionately in "Pourquoi Pas".
The philosophy of his cuisine is joining the spirit of the Castelbrac placed in one word " Simplicity" but the requirement is the excellency of “products quality" and "local food networks".
"What is important to me, is the taste," said Julien Hennote, because this requirement is the right vector to flavors.

Castelbrac is located at 17 Avenue Georges V in Dinard. Simply drive along the coast until you arrive at the church, which is at the entrance to Dinard.
