Vineyards & Explorations : Dijon - Côte de Nuits

The Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to provide quality visits and services on the theme of wine. The label appeals to a customer base that appreciates the world of wine without necessarily being connoisseurs, and offers a range of quality services: accommodation, cultural sites, activities and leisure, cellars to visit, restaurants, exploration of natural spaces, events, etc.

Four destinations in Burgundy have been awarded the label: Dijon - Côte de Nuits, Colline de Corton, Colline de Montrachet and Vignoble de Chablis.

Destination : Dijon - Côte de Nuits

The “Dijon - Côte de Nuits” destination covers the city of Dijon and the Côte de Nuits and Hautes Côtes de Nuits areas, including the villages of Marsannay-la-Côte, Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges. A city known as the gateway to the Côte de Nuits vineyards, Dijon is placed at the heart of wine tourism stays in Burgundy.

This destination combines the appeal of Dijon, which boasts a rich architectural heritage, with the reputation of an internationally renowned wine-growing region.

“Dijon - Côte de Nuits” offers a selection of 13 partner cellars open to tourists located in evocatively named villages, some thirty accommodation options, along with a choice of thirty or so restaurants serving traditional cuisine with food and wine recommendations.

Visitors are welcomed by the tourist offices of Dijon, Marsannay-la-Côte, Gevrey-Chambertin Canton and Pays de Nuits-Saint-Georges, or by six tourist centres that will be able suggest turnkey solutions.
They will have everything they need to travel around sites associated with the world of wine that delight wine lovers from all over the world, such as the Château du Clos de Vougeot or the Château d’Entre-Deux-Monts, and will be able to enjoy a number of activities linked to wine available in several languages and events that highlight the region and its local traditions.
