Golf de Dinard, Brittany

Drawn by an Scottish architect Tom Dunn in 1887 and inaugured in 1890, the Golf de Dinard is the 2nd golf born in France after Pau Golf Club which has been opened since 1856. Situated in the north Brittany, on Emeraude coastline and Saint-Briac-sur-Mer city, the Dinard Golf is inspired by British golfers such as the golf d'Etretat.

In front of the sea, this 18 holes offers a splendid panorama especially on La Haie which is classified of La Garde de Guérin. The sandy pitch built on the dunes and cliffs surrounded by brooms and gorses makes the course very technical especially when it's windy. To appreciate the local wildlife an ecological book bring you on the ground.

You will notice that the hole number 6 and its green has been classified among the most beautiful holes in the world by Golf US Magazine.

Golf d’Etretat, Normandy

Created in 1908 by British golfers initiative like numerous marine golfs, le golf d'Etretat offers an exceptional walk along the famous cliffs. Drawn by the architect Julien Chantepie collaborating with the famous golfer Arnaud Massy the unique winner of British Open in 1907. The course had normally only 13 holes before an extension in 1992. Now it has 18 holes on more than 6kms.

Golf de Sperone, Corsica

In the extreme south of Corsica, a few minutes from Bonifacio, Sperone golf course is certainly one of the most beautiful in the world! It was founded in 1985 by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones who was able to integrate the field to the wonderful nature of Corsica to make an exceptional, both courses by the sea, on inland and mountains.
Erected above the sea, on a limestone cap with a panoramic view of the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean and sandy beaches, this 18-hole golf course is drawn on 73 hectares of scrubland dotted with granite rocks. A technical course which requires a perfect swing.
Dubbed the "Pebble Beach of-Med", in reference to Pebble-Beach, high-end golf in the United States which was held including the U.S. Open in 2010, this unique site offers a real communion with nature. The island of beauty in all its glory. Notice that since the introduction of the Act Littoral in 1986, the construction of land by the sea has been framed to protect the French coast of excessive real estate speculation and allow free public access to coastal paths.

Golf Club Moliets, New Aquitaine

Golf Pléneuf-Val-André, Brittany

One of the finest golf courses in France, and one with arguably the most dramatic coastal undulations, Golf de Val-André (External link) is a roller coaster golfing experience. From high heathland holes, the course plummets down to the seafront with holes running parallel to the beach. It’s an exhilarating round with beautiful views of Brittany’s sparkling Côte d’Emeraude.
