Discover the Latest New Musical Talent at Les Trans

Focusing on the latest and greatest in musical talent, Les Rencontres Trans Musicales (or Les Trans for short) has been one of the most important music events in France since its launch in 1979. This year the annual event celebrates its 40th anniversary Dec 5–9, 2018.

We’ve seen it year in and year out. Whenever a band gains attention in France for its artistic prowess, you can bet they showcased at Les Trans in previous years.

Les Trans is where big names like Lenny Kravitz, Björk, and Ben Harper first took the stage in France. And this venue is also where French audiences discovered Justice, MIA, Daft Punk, Amadou & Mariam, and even the Fugees.

For its 40th edition, Le Trans is maintaining its reputation for putting on a great show. Organizers have carefully curated an eclectic, audacious, and unexpected line-up, which includes some 60 concerts, performing arts events, dance, and more…

Be Surprised at Le Trans!

On the program for 2018: Iranian psychedelic rock group Al-Qasar, the techno sounds of Brook Line, Bruno Bellissimo’s Italian disco, Disiz la Peste’s electro hip hop, K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade’s Afro-rock beats, and Venice Club’s disco funk. Haven’t heard of any of these bands before? Don’t worry. Trust Le Trans—you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
