The island of Porquerolles, facing the peninsula of Giens on the Côte d'Azur, is the setting for this small festival that will take place from July 7 to 11, 2018.
This is an atypical festival, organized in the heart of the Port-Cros National Park. The concerts are held every evening at Fort Sainte Agathe, enjoying a beautiful view of the island and the bay of Hyères.
Evening dedicated to the american saxophonist Archie Shepp
For its 17th edition, the festival will host Hermeto Pascal, Aldo Romano, Harold Lopez, Yamandu Costa, Vincent Peirani, Yonathan Avishai, and BCUC. Tuesday, July 10, the entire evening will be dedicated to the American saxophonist Archie Shepp, Honorary President of the festival since the first edition.
Shuttle buses to Hyères (Tour Fondue pier) are provided before and after the concerts. For the duration of the festival, an "off" animates the island with workshops for children, appetizers fanfare and swing or a large musical picnic Sunday, July 8 in the Perzinsky Domain.
