Christian Dior, Veuve Clicquot, Louis Vuitton...who hasn't dreamed of getting to walk the halls of these prestigious houses? It's a dream that can come true from Oct 12-14 with the fourth edition of les Journées Particulières.
For three days, the LVMH group opens the doors to its prestigious houses to display their craftsmanship and savoir-faire. The 2018 edition particularly honors workshops lead by artisans. Shoemakers, jewelers, couturiers, clockmakers will share their talent and welcome the public into their creative universe.
Among the innovations of this edition is Givenchy's participation. For the first time, the haute couture house will open the doors to the avenue Georges V address, the favorite haunt of Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, and Princess Grace of Monaco.
Another first is Les Échos-Le Parisien's unveiling of its new headquarters set up in an ultra modern building in the 15th arrondissement. From here, you can admire the spectacular staircase signed by designer Ora-Ïto.
Christian Dior Perfume will also have a part in the Journées Particulières; they're offering a sensory visited at the château de la Colle Noire, the main address of the couture house in Montauroux, Provence. They will also be offering visits to the Fontaines Parfumées, where Dior and Louis Vuitton perfumes are created.
