One night at Les Invalides, Paris

For its 7th season, La Nuit aux Invalides returns to the renovated Les Invalides courtyard for a unique 360° show. An immersive experience in a magnificent monument not to be missed this summer in Paris, between July 12 and August 30, from Wednesday to Saturday.

In the heart of Paris, La Nuit aux Invalides promises once again this summer a great sound and lights show in the renovated Cour des Invalides. Entitled “Lutèce, 3000 Years of Stories”, the 2019 edition of the show invites you to travel three millennia in this timeless place, from Gauls to Louis XIV, from Napoleon to the great men and military leaders who drew the Lutèce of yesterday and the Paris of today. A monumental show, created by Bruno Seillier, who also signs the show given to the Comtal castle of Carcassonne.

State-of-the-art video projectors, giant screens

The story is carried by the great voices of Jean Piat, André Dussolier, Céline Duhamel and Jacques Roehrich. And the organizers announce a new technological deployment: an exceptional image quality thanks to new generation 4K laser projectors, 3 stone screens of more than 5000 square meters that guarantee a totally immersive experience… English and Spanish translation headphones are available for rent (€5).

Unseen visit of the Church of the Dome

The spectators can then extend the show with a night walk with a thousand candles set by Bruno Seillier in the Church of the Dome. A magical moment in the heart of Parisian night which is not to be missed…
