"La Vie en Rose": A summer at La Vallée Village

Are you ready for summer? Head to La Vallée Village for a season bursting with fashion and events. In France, summer is pink, sparkly and exudes a certain je-ne-sais-quoi. This French POV is embodied in "La vie en Rose," a 360° exhibition at La Vallée Village of everything that makes the season beautiful and entertaining. There are plenty of amazing events and attractions, like a rosé bar, DJs in the evening, and other artistic and festive installations.
The only rule at La Vallée Village's "La vie en Rose" is to have fun from May 29 to August 18!

Fashion

Whether silhouetted in sneakers or billowing with romance in a flowered dress (either way sporting comfortable lingerie), in the city or along the Riviera, these are quintissentially French summer looks. You can find both, with a spirit of informality and easy elegance at La Vallée Village. A straw bag, flashy sneakers, a lace top, shorts and linen shirts—the boutiques flaunt French style with one objective: to make you look as though you're on vacation every day.

Food

Of course, French summer means great food, with lingering happy-hours al fresco and outdoor picnics. The Village garden comes to life with French pastry chef rockstar (and 2005 world champion) Christophe Michalak, thanks to his food truck with his pastries that are as Instagrammable as they are delicious. Check it out June 1!
Likewise, it wouldn't be French summer without a glass of rosé! The Menu Palais restaurant is opening a bar dedicated to summer's most popular drink on June 6. It's a pleasant setting to enjoy a drink after shopping!

Festival and art

The Village comes alive this summer thanks to art—its streets will turn into an open-air exhibition. Working with seven artists, the Village will welcome a series of art performances throughout the beautiful season. With giant sculptures and artists at work in the Village, you will discover works from celebrated artists of the contemporary art scene that include:
-Sculptor Richard Orlinski with his famous five-meter (16 feet) high polar bear
-Pop art painter and sculptor Laurence Jenkell, known for her signature giant bronze confectionary.
-Artist and photographer Sylvie Barco, who will cover a 4.5-meter (15 feet) high wall with collages of Parisian life.
-World-famous street artist Jonone who will install one of his extra-large works of graffiti in the Village.
-Street artist L'Atlas will install one of his optical works, a ‘hypnotic universe’, for a distinctive perspective on the world.
-Le Diamantaire, the artist-artisan who leaves a sparkle wherever he goes.
-Monsieur Chat and his smiling cat sculpture.
