Located in the heart of Houston's Midtown/Montrose area, Artisans Restaurant delivers an authentic French dining experience to food connoisseurs in all age groups and palates. At Artisans, the menu is classic yet innovative, the décor is distinctive and elegant, and the servers are gracious and professional.

The culinary staff, under the leadership of Chef Jacques Fox, delivers unparalleled French cuisine, championing the philosophy that "dining is a passionate art form."

The Chef

The Chef Jacques Fox has been the owner of the Artisans Restaurant since 2011. He is a Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) and a Member of La Confrérie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs.

Nowadays, this incredible chef is the Honorary Culinary Adviser of the United States Honor Council. Jacques Fox is known to have traveled and worked in the most prestigious resorts and restaurants all around the world, from North Africa, France, Sicily, New Caledonia, Maldives Islands, Greece, Israel, Australia, Turkey, South Africa, Canada, Singapore and the United States of America.

Artisans in Good France

The Artisans restaurant decided to be part of the Good France event to promote French cuisine in Houston. This year the theme of Good France is the New Aquitaine region, as well as wine and spirits, so to fulfill Good France’s theme (and satisfy Houstonians' taste buds), Fox explored diverse wines, spirits and culinary delights from that region.

Our favorite:

The chocolate cake with a rum sauce is incredible, a perfect balance of sweetness and decadence.
