Paris – Teatime at the Luxury Hotels

Directly imported from the other side of the channel, it is an institution: the tradition of teatime has cleared a path in the biggest Parisian hotels who propose high tea accompanied by pastries.

Tradition with a Twist

The bar of the Prince de Galles, Les Heures, proposes a series of cold beverages around the theme of teas and infusions. Tea becomes the base ingredient for non-alcoholic cocktails that are original and refreshing. The traditional English scone is equally modernized, as is the cucumber sandwich.

Tea or Champagne?

The elegant restaurant at the Hotel Le Meurice transforms into a tea salon for the afternoon. Le Dali, transported by Alain Ducasse, perpetuates the tradition and proposes a tasting of scones and finger sandwiches accompanied by tea, coffee and hot chocolate, or indeed a glass of champagne. Very chic!

Teatime at the Palace

The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome offers a veritable snack time break in its restaurant La Cheminée. Called la Paran(the)se, this snack gives nobility to the names of childhood classics: fruit tarts, French toast, and homemade hazelnut spread, as well as some savory items.
